Greenjah81 Yes - we used an LT transmitter paired with an R400A receiver to record the dialog in the video. The microphone was a Sanken COS-11D.

Thank you for the great Video. I'm considering your L Series combo to go with my Sound Devices 702 recorder and RØDE NTG3. I assume the accessory kit will accommodate the connections of all components: Lectrosonics L Series, Sound Devices Recorder, and the RØDE NTG3. I'd welcome any thoughts. Thanks

Hi David, the L Series kits contain the transmitter & receiver, a mounting bracket for camera cold shoe mounting (which you probably wouldn't need) and output cables for connecting the LR receiver to either a 1/8" TRS (like on a camera) and to an XLR input (like the 702). Probably the correct kit for your to use the NTG3 wirelessly would be the ZS-LRHMa kit. The HMa transmitter has an XLR connection and provides phantom power for your shotgun mic.

Thank you for your reply. I mostly intend to use the L Series with the included M152/5P lavalier microphone through my Sound Devices 702, or my Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera. But it is nice to know that I can add the HMa Plug-On Transmitter to the mix should I want to use the RØDE NTG3 wirelessly. If I want to record two people at the same time, each wearing a separate lavalier mic, would I need an additional transmitter/receiver set? Thanks again for your assistance.

David, yes - for two separate people simultaneously, you'd need two transmitters and either two receivers (LR) or one dual-channel receiver (SRc).

I live on the east coast. Which Band (A1? B1? C1?) of the L Series kit would I need to get? And if I got one of the bands mentioned above, would I be geographically limited as to which parts of the country I can operate in? Thank you.

Hi David, either the A1 or B1 bands would be fine, and you could use either of those bands anywhere in the US and Canada legally. The C1 band is also legal in the US for now, but this will change in 2-3 years as the 600 MHz band has been auctioned and will become mostly unavailable for wireless mics.

+Chris Polczinski it is a coax antenna. Using one can improve reception quite a bit in certain circumstances, by getting the active part of the antenna away from the body. They are used in surfing competitions, as an example, and the signal can be easily picked up on the beach 1/2 mile away.
