@@adyasapriyadarsiniacharya8196 see 2A source is DELIVERING 12 wats so take signs according to that and voltage across 4 ohm resistor will be 6 volt and current through it will be 1.5 ampere but be careful about the signs of voltage and current then find currents in each branch ultimately u will get voltage across R = 4V and current through it 0.8 amperes.....finding current is very easy for these question if u find currents u need not to solve any questions....just do KCL in mind u will get ans...if not ask me again

Q no. 1 is an invalid ckt. Bcoz of absence of independent source. Q no.2. R=5 ohm. i(10)= 1.3 A, i(20)= 0.5 A, i(4)= 1.5 A(up), i(R)= 0.8 A..voltage across 2A source = 12/2= 6 V (current will out from +ve terminal).. absorbing power P(17V)+P(10)+P(R=5)+P(20)+P(4)+P(2A) =( -22.1) + 16.9 + 3.2 + 5 + 9 + (-12) = 0 Watt...Tq sir..

Sir, in 8th question I calculated power absorb I'm not getting = 0.,P at 1A = 18W (D), P at Vs = -85W(A), P at 2A =18W(A),P at 3ohm =-12W(A),P at 4 ohm =36W (A) , P at 1ohm = 25W(A).. Ptotal absorb =-36w I'm getting sir

In first question Vx=-54Ix and Vx=-44ix so means Ix=0 or indeterminate. In 2nd question Vr=4V and Ir=0.8A so R=4/0.8=5 ohms

in 6th ques, u have written different formulae for power using ohm's law, but ohm's law is valid for only linear elements. So, i think it is not correct and moreover if it is correct according to u sir, then there is no need to give active and passive nature of the element as by equating different formulea of the power, we get R= 1/current , so current has to be positive as resistance cant be negative. So , just confirming that writing power formulae for non linear element using ohm's law is wrong. Thanks for ur work! Please do consider this comment. :)

sir question no 9 me aapne last me jo current division rule use kiya usme how can you calculate total resistance is 7 ohm? they are in parallel so why not you take 10/7 ?

No you can not do that because you are asked to find the value of I which is flowing through 5 ohms resistance. Thats why current divusion rule has been applied .

@@souravmohapatra8139 Voltage across 2amp is 6 volt . so Voltage across 4 ohm will be 6 too. Then use kcl at 4 ohm junction you get current in 20ohm as 0.5 .apply kvl in the middle loop you get potential at R is 4 v then in first calculate current from source which is (17-4 )/10 =1.3 amp .0.5 is across 20 ohm so remaining 0.8 is at R which produces 4 v =0.8*R
