With online education like this one, it will make it worth it. Most online courses charge so much and give so little. Often, you don't even have a real teacher who explain anything. Online education sucks, but this one is awesome!!!

I love this guy! I can imagine that he must have made a lot of freshman consider CS as their program of study.

These topics make sooo much sens. Thank-you Professor Mehran Sahami these lectures are still relevant today and has helped me a lot knowing java. Earlier I just knew how to code without understanding what used to happen in the background but now after going through your lectures I understand this language and why things happen the way they happen in Java. Your lectures are soo entertaining that instead of binge watching Netflix I can watch your lectures all day one after the other. Thankyou Professor Mehran Sahami. Thankyou soo much.

some things that I don't agree with, 1) If strings are manifest constants or interned then you can use == over equals() and ovoid potential null dereference , 2) Don't use + to concatenate Strings over a loop, use StringBuilder, this will improve resource use.

I cant wait to start watching these studying this crap when daddy didn't build a wing at stanford and leave a large trust fund makes us normies have to dig a little deeper. But his looks awesome all the comments are good so far and as I bookmark lectures further and further into the series the views drop off substantially but comments stay good. I'm betting this is the real thing!!!!! Can't wait to get started.

well this early on you will just overcomplicate stuff if u introduce StringBuilder/StringBuffer, also the most important thing about == / equals() is enough. surely the literature will cover it anyways for the interested without cluttering the lectures
