Sir you teach well but there are some mistake in your example according to my thought. For example I have to go. Here "to" is preposition, and the work of preposition to show relationship between noun or pronoun with other parts of speech in the sentence. But go is verb. So in this situation you must be add "ing" form to verb "go" to form gerund, and gerund work as a noun in the sentence.
