in question 3 .. independent voltage source must be short..then we can only apply analysis for getting rth

Of course we need to remove the independent voltage source.

What we will write on RHS (i.e on source side of eqtn) of nodal eqtn if that 1ohm resistance (in series to dependent source)would not have been there ...@time-9:29

Sir in question no. 1 ,when we are considering V1 AS THE MAIN VOLTAGE -WE ARE GETTING VTH AS 6V .WHY???

sir in qus no.3 Vth will be 0.5mV. because Vth will be (1/2k). but you calculated as 1/2

no dear its absolute correct. there will be no effect of kilo ohm as that will cancel out. watch the video carefully.

AMAN PATHAK V1=Vt V2-V1= 3Vt Write equation at node V1. You'll get

Ankur Verma there is a short path, so current will flow through short path, so we can remove the 20 ohm.

In test voltage approach we have to short the independent voltage source..so there is no 5/2v will occur and u will get the answer of 0.2kohm.

Deepanshu Choudhary you don't need to calculate Vt, calculate the ratio between Vt and It.
