At 7:43 how did you equate cos(th) = 1- (1/2)sin^(2)(th) ? In this equation, if i make theta= 30 degrees, it does not hold : Sqrt(3)/2 does not equal 5/2

No .. it depends upon the angle you measure from I.D.C. position. Anti-clockwise = +ve and Clockwise = -ve

Velocity is in m/s , crank radius in meter, angular velocity in rad/sec , angular acceleration in rad/s^2 , stroke length in meter and linear acceleration in m/s^2. Thanks..
