The Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women was adopted in 1979 by UNGA. Aur is Convention kay basis pay ek Committee establish hui thi 1982 me .

Mam ek confusion hai . Plz reply . CEDAW establishment date apny likha hai 1982 , then how was it adopted by UN in 1979.Also India signed it in 1980 and ratified it in 1993. Inshort dates mei confusion ho raha hai . Please ap clear kijie . Allah bless you .

Google international women's year dikha raha hai 1975 instead of 1974 and nairobi in 1985

Yes They started these discussions in 1974 and after World Conference they marked 1975 as International Women's year. And Naorobi happened in 1985 only. I think its a typo error. I will pin the updated years. Thanks
