i think this is due to the fact that : "jo ham argument pass kr rhe hain command prompt pe, us ki value direct ja rhi ha argv[ ] mein. " so ham argv[ i ] use kr k uski value print kr rhe hain. we dont need to write * with it. because it is storing pointer string. I hope it helps :)

In case of strings we can print the values without using *.. U can use *(argv[i]) ...or ...argv[i].. Both are same

You might have seen %s format specifier....It is used to print the string i.e., uss character array ka sabhi character array print ho jayega until pointer reaches '\0' which is automatically appended at the end of the character array or string.....So to keep it short....It will take the address of the first character of the string and print the entire string. And since it is called 3 times so 3 strings are printed.

Sir, thank you for this tutorial on command line. I was confused with this topic, but your explanation is very helpful. But I have a doubt that pointer stores the address of the variable. But in printf statement, u have used " argv[i]" which will point to adress of the string. I think, to access the variable, "*argv[i]" should be used. Please clear my doubt sir. I am preparing for placements and this is the first video I have watched of yours and its excellent. I will definitely watch all your videos. Thanks again ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Yes I have the same confusion...to access the value at that address we should use *argv[i]...but output is same though

you can use pointers with array subscript notation i.e argv[i] ....if want to use with * write as *(argv+i).
