But don't you feel linked list is still better than vectors. Somehow Vector does waste memory (size-9 , cap-16). But linked list, Umm hh it creates only one block at a time which makes it memory friendly. But then why programmers adopt vectors. Still looking for a valid reason.🤔

Sir suppose I initialised 5 elements and 5 elements space has been created, now as per the vector feature it would get double if I have filled all the 5 spaces, now when I insert the 6th element space then the capacity is 10 now. Suppose I don't need to insert any more element, then would there be any space wastage of 4 elements or is there any way out?

Sir, once the capacity get increased then after removing one element it is not automatically resizing . why this is not happening and it will become useful.

I agree with Peterolen. If you want to do resizing always, you can opt for list rather than vector.

You mentioned that vector changes its capacity to double whenever it is full, but how that is optimum solution compared to linked list. Imagine we have 100 items is vector and it is full , even if we need to add just one element, vector size will be 200. Don't you think that is wastage of memory?
