Fantastic lecture. It explained Kirchhoff's Laws very well, which I had struggled with while studying from some books that I have (for the law on current, they neglected to mention that we were observing the currents flowing into and out of a junction point...or node as it is expressed in this lecture). I am very grateful to IIT and Prof. T.S.Natarajan for making these lectures available, these are a great source of knowledge. I need to start taking notes, these equations are too good to lose!

Sir, your way of explaining makes it very easy to understand several concepts, as you also show it practically.

What another great lesson!!! Thanks for bringing to my awareness the Superposition theorem and explaining the internal parts of a current source, something some of my teachers have been failing to explain at the university. I'll certainly move on to the 5th lesson since it has all been very useful, informative, and it'll add value to my knowledge for the finals exams. Cheers from Brazil!

I'm grateful for the lessons provided. I wish for a forum to discuss questions related to the lessons, for lack of an alternative space, I'll ask my question here and hope for the best. At 24:56, Kirchoffs Voltage Theorum is discussed. I can't seem to understand why the algebraic sum for the second loop is V2-(I2-I1)R2-I2R3-V3=0. To be consistent with the algebraic sum of the first loop it should be V2-(I2-I1)R2-(I2-I3)R3-V3=0. Can anyone explain?
@pupsadevi29307 жыл бұрын
it is because only the current I3 is passing through R3.. you can see the same condition as in V1, only the current I1 is passing R1. ( in R2 both the current are passing through )

sir, In superposition theorem calculated voltage was V=Voltage across R23=121 and voltage acrossR12 so toal voltage was 3.3+3=6.3volt.but why we don't take voltage across R1 and voltage across R3.these resistance also series to R23 AND R12 respectively in circuit.

You are a great teacher! in lecture4 on MAXIMUN POWER THEOREM.R is not one of the parameters.I(L)=V(S)/2R(L) not V(S)/2R. I really appreciate your work but you talk faster than than slides. Well done! bamga902
