please tell me why the magnetizing current is always above axis (zero or positive) 34:20? wouldn't this cause the transformer to saturate?

Thanks for the video on full bridge converter. I have a doubt in the magnetizing current. What actually prevents the magnetizing current from going negative. Why is it clamping to zero when negative voltage is applied across Lm.

Hey Kaiyu, thanks! I haven't thought about putting together lectures notes for distribution, but it's a good idea. I'll have to go through my notes/come up with a way to do figures conveniently, but this is going on my list. Cheers
