It's so cool seeing the contrast between the first fellow and the second. There is something I don't quite understand, how can you just put up a web page on the internet, then traffic coming by itself, which turn out into orders. I feel there is some details skipped by Stanley.

I believe the 'trigger' was a phone number, no ordering features. Stanley probably didn't expect someone to ring but one did who ordered Thai food which he then had to fulfil.

Yeah, I agree. It must have been either picked up by a local listing site like Craigslist or they ran some Ads with AdWords. I doubt that was from organic search.

How does doing things that don't scale help a startup other than the fact that very few people are interested in doing it thereby eliminating competition? If that's the only reason then why not just say "do things nobody wants to do". That would capture the idea much better.
