11:51 Why we always seek pleasure and want to avoid pain. This thing must be thoroughly studied and understood. And vedanta puts light on this point very clearly. That we are part and parcel of God [ Nitya Vibhinna Amsha ] , eternally seperated fragment of God. And what type of God ? Anandam Brameti Vyajanat. That god who is pure bliss. Ananda!! He does not have any trace of lamentation or dukkha what so ever. Hence our nature being a part of him is also to naturally seek Happiness. So it is really not our mistake to seek happiness. The great secret lies in fact that the Prakriti / Maya has duality and she wont let any living being have either happiness continuously or dukkha continuously. She constants is smashing us with waves of both happiness and unhappiness. And we are constantly caught in Flux of Duality. This we fail to see. If we come to recongnize this that all beings in what ever position in this world they are , they are being subjected to same sensual duality at different levels and dueto gradation of these levels in socirty a person foolishly thinks that another person with better richness and wealth , looks or beauty is in better state. This is also Maya's trick. If we do through analysis we will be left with no other choice to seek God and his abode. That is all this is. Finally the small wave of the ocean Wants to become friends with the whole ocean. not other temporary waves on the ocean which are also in this journey of the world. We need to catch hold of God who alone is our eternal relationship. :)
