@@lecturesinelectricaleng Sir but I have doubt Why it is necessary to skewed the slots in case of SRIM ,as it already have good starting torque (by using external resistance) as well as it is free from cogging phenomenon ???

@@sourabhpandey7940 yes wound rotar has an edge of high starting torque but by doing sewing the flux distribution is more uniform and harmonic torque are lesser (as sir explained) so it is anyhow good thing to do skewing.
