Problem is the facial rash occurs once or twice a year and the other rash can be brushed off as something else. I’ve had heart pain and doc said it was probably pericarditis but did no tests. The rash on my face, I’ve had several times but always thought I was allergic to changing weather and laughed it off. I have dry eyes confirmed by my eye doctor and dry skin and my family doctor said it was Peseriasis. (Spelling is wrong, I know) when I had a severe attack, I had pain in the face, joints of my hands, elbows, and hip. Brain fluid leak for months (confirmed by ENT) as well as nasal perforation due to nasal ulcers. Of course, psychiatric issues worsened by doctors dismissing me and difficulty controlling my emotions. I also ended up having acute pancreatitis and now inflammation in my gallbladder. I got my whole genome tested and this is what got me thinking I may have lupus. Because I have pathogenic and probable pathogenic genes that fit with autoimmune diseases. I also have Raynaud phenomenon. So now that I know, I will need to take pictures of my issues when they arise. I’m in pain right now and writing this is very painful. I don’t know what else to do or who to turn to. Symptoms come and go mysteriously. I can’t predict a flair up! Once I saw doctor 9 months had passed after the flare up so the ACE test was negative. Doctor said there is nothing wrong with you. I have medical ptsd from the whole thing! Doctor after doctor I saw. The pain in the joints, the pain in the heart is real! Well, my only vindication will come at my autopsy, hopefully. Neuropsycoidosis also seems similar. Also MS. How do you sort through all this! Even an experienced PhD can miss diagnose so what chance do I have to sort this out? It took me years to get to this point. The trouble is that the same genes play similar roles in all of them and not everyone exhibits the same symptoms in all three. In the winter I have a hard time. My body doesn’t adjust well to the cold. I develop arthritis and it’s debilitating. I have shivering attacks and need to bundle up like hypothermia. Then chest pain. As I’m writing this, I’m in recovery mode from a shivering attack. Head pain. If it gets really bad my husband warms me up with his body heat. This has also occasionally happened right in the middle of summer but it’s worse in the fall and winter.🥶
