Bro i want you to make a wireless electricity transfer circut... it is simple, use single LED blinking circit with NE555P and change the capacitor value and make a coil of 50 turns and add a 50 ohm resistor in series with the coil and replace the Led with coil. at the reciver coil (30 to 60 turns) you will get above 100v but it is low power so no harm...connect a red led to reciver coil and you are done!!!

Your tutorial is very well explained and with the values of the components as well as the final diagram, which is rare, well done, except that you indicate the value of the 1 st resistor of 1k, while you have mounted a resistor of 10 Ohms . Thank you. I am French, I do not understand English and I do not know if anyone said that I noticed, that's why I put it

Thanks for the very good video!.. I believe that you would be better off by adding a resistor like 470ohm in series with the IC output (3) to minimize the power consumption. Note that IC NE555P will keep working even below 2.8volts, this is convenient if you are powering the circuit using standard batteries. Also consider that by changing R1 (I.e. to 100K) you can slow down the flash rate -same effect as changing C2. Furthermore if you only need only one LED you can simply leave out LED2.

This seems impossible. The data sheet for the NE555 IC says the minimum voltage required for this chip is 4.5 volts. If this one works (18650 fully charged is 4.2 volts) it is probably a fluke due to IC chip tolerance's. It probably won't run very long once the 18650 drops below 4 volts. You can substitute the CMOS 555. (ie; TS555, LMC555, or TLC555 ) It is designed to run with a voltage down to as low as 2 volts.

@gundogankazanc9241
@gundogankazanc9241 3 жыл бұрын
You're right in many cases but some 555 chips has lower feeding voltage, for example 7555 types can work by 1.5V. According to my old knowledges, this chip is fed with a voltage between 4.5V - 15V range and this guy did not use any serial resistor for LEDs. This is real mistake. Output of 555 ic, (pin 3) gives 2/3 of Vcc (pin8) and when you use high voltage for a led, you have to put a protective serial resistor for led. I don't like this video, it shows dangerous experiment for amateurs or electronic components.

Well no fing clue why this works but I do now have a pair of flashing leds. Thanks to a comment about replacing R1 with a pot it was MUCH easier to control the rate of L1 but... That same thing caused some issues with L2 constantly being on, until I got smart enough to replace R2 with another pot and adjusted them together to get a decent back and forth. Now to hook this up into a cardboard UFO 👽

I am trying to reduce the consumption of a 12v LED. Looking for an alternative for a 12v LED to not use full power to save the battery. I understand utilizing a step-down transformer or boost converters, however they use resisters which consume power. There is a minimum voltage input to fire up an LED which is about 8 volts. I would appreciate any help.

@edeaglehouse2221
@edeaglehouse2221 3 жыл бұрын
If you added four LEDs in series, they would all blink at the same time because power would be running through them all at the same time. Of course they would have to be connected anode to cathode or there wouldn't be any power running through them at all: diodes allow current in one direction only.

Do I need the resistors if I replace each LED with a neon LED strip that runs on 12VDC and my power supply is 12VDC? Each strip could represent a word like YES NO and the strips would alternate being lighted. Each neon LED strip is a self contained circuit of LEDs in parallel. There's a positive and a negative wire on one side of the strip, but the other side of the strip is closed.
