what I usually do with the led installations I make, is to put bubble plastic in between, so you create some distance but wont lose to much of the light intensity. then on top place a difusing material like the led foam, or kite fabric, which difuses very good as well...

can you sand it with dremel or is it too delicate for that? because from the video it looks like a soft wrapping material, which has a texture i would not dare to sand

Love the video, I love the smooth breathing effect you got; where did you find the code for it?

What about backing the foam with bond paper? Think it would bump up the diffusion without sacrificing thinness?

What about heat, does the foam heat up... melt over time?
@FreakySei4 жыл бұрын
One of the interesting point of LED is the very very VERY low (almost null) heat emanation of it :) So no, it wont melt.

If you get a chance find a broken flat screen TV and pull it apart, you'll find 3 or 4 layers of realy good light defuse sheets, check this old video, may give you a idea, it's paper thin, and I'm only using one layer on this one. kzbin.info/www/bejne/eHSWiZ6pm655sMk

When you add "LED" you get to add more money to the product.. its just Jiffy packing foam a 25m roll is about $15
