Meanwhile a year passed, lamp works, got a little humid last autumn but that humidity got away at the first ride in spring. Last summer had a mandatory technical checkup at TÜV, they didn't complain anything about the headlight.

Beste Entscheidung meine olle Halogen an meiner Harley mit ner LED von Motea upzugraden... mit E und DOT ist man bei der Kontrolle auch safe....

Yes, bucket and frame are the original one

Where do I get this "golden" adapter ring between outer ring and head light? On my bike I cannot mount the LED Headlight for there was no such ring. The old headlight had additional home made soldered flaps with screw holes instead.

@@klarafall4281 there are sparepart sites. Bikeparts has a catalog where you can exactly get the part number for any part, however it seems that obe is part of headlight assembly and cannot be obtained on its own

@aGentleUser I now got the ring that was necessary fits, no problem mounting it now, BUT ...the head light casing also contains a sh.. load of cabeling which blocks the actually inner head light to fit in. Not sure what to do, if I have to pull out the cabels from the back. They might be dangling in the way of something else.
