Unofficial video from the album "In Through the Out Door" the eighth studio album by the English rock band Led Zeppelin. It was recorded over a three week period in November and December 1978 at ABBA's Polar Studios in Stockholm, Sweden, and released by Swan Song Records on 15 August 1979. In Through the Out Door was the band's sixth and final release to reach the top of the charts in America, and was the last released by the band before the death of drummer John Bonham in 1980.
The album was named by the group to describe its recent struggles amidst the death of Robert Plant's son Karac in 1977, and the taxation exile the band took from the UK as a result of the Harold Wilson and James Callaghan administrations, which also adversely affected other major British bands of the time, such as The Rolling Stones. The exile resulted in the band being unable to tour on British soil for over two years, and trying to get back into the public mind was therefore like "trying to get in through the 'out' door."
In contrast to previous Led Zeppelin albums, In Through the Out Door features much greater influence on the part of bassist and keyboardist John Paul Jones and vocalist Robert Plant, and relatively less from drummer John Bonham and guitarist Jimmy Page. Two songs from the album-"South Bound Saurez" [sic] and "All My Love"-were the only two original Led Zeppelin songs that Jimmy Page had no part in writing. With the exception of "Darlene," a Boogie-Woogie based song credited to all band members (which was eventually released on the 1982 album, Coda), Bonham did not receive writing credits for any of the songs recorded at Polar Studios. This diminished input by Page and Bonham is attributed to the two band members often not showing up on time at the recording studio, with Bonham struggling with alcoholism and Page battling heroin addiction As Jones said, "there were two distinct camps by then, and we [I and Plant] were in the relatively clean one."[3]
Many of the songs were consequently put together by Plant and Jones during the day, with Page and Bonham adding their parts late at night.[4] According to Jones, this was
mainly because I had a new toy. I had this big new keyboard. And Robert and I just got to rehearsals early, basically... So Robert and I, by the time everybody turned up for rehearsals, we'd written three or four songs. So we started rehearsing those immediately, because they were something to be getting on with
Following the recording sessions at Polar Studios, the album was mixed at Page's personal studio at his home in Plumpton. "Wearing and Tearing", "Ozone Baby" and "Darlene" were recorded during sessions for this album, but were dropped due to space constraints. All later appeared on Coda.

@Fecal Matter They have said in different interviews artists that have inspired and influenced them, but I know what you mean. If they'd printed it on the vinyl they'd have to cough up some royalties. A lot of their so called plagiarism tracks were from the 1920s like the levee breaks and it has no resemblance to the original which was sung more like a nursery rhyme or psalm. The lyrics resemble a lime Rick and what they did with it was amazing. Kudos to them for that and other tracks I say, just enjoy the music. I'd rather a band make something from the music than some bell end of an executive somewhere who owns the rites to some track he's bought or conned the writer out of.eg Bitter Sweet Symphony by The Verve who got nada from it because 4 cords in it sounded like a Stones track some prick owned the rights to. ☘

Not at all...well appreciated by all. He is on every top 10 list for bass and keyboard players for rock. He was just quiet, unassuming while he and Bonham built the foundation upon which Page and Plant flourished and became, more or less, the face of Led Zeppelin. Remember he was a highly sought after session player before he rang up Page to see if he needed a bass player in his band.

The Reason For My Reply, To Pass Away At The Young Age Of 27 Years Old. My Mother Died In 1972, She Was Just 27Years Old, Pneumonia Is Jus As Deadly Today As It Was Then. There Has Always Been A Missing Part Of Me Thru-Out My Life. No Matter How Great Or Bad Life Got. How I Needed/Wanted Her. I Know Of Past 52 Years She Has Been With Me, As My Guardian Angel As I Look Back. GOD Knows The Love In My Heart, As I Near My Time, I Am Soo Excited To Know When I Go Thru Heavens Gate, Before Me Will Be GOD IN All HIS HOLINESS, Right Beside HIM Will Be My Momma. As I Message This I Never Could Find The Emotion, Finally. I Was Unfortunately Only 6Yrs Old. I Have Only Three Memories, Must've Been Around Christmas Time. Her Singing Christmas Songs In The Car. Her Death Was January 1972 So The Songs Seems Legit. I Can Not Imagine The Pain You Have Endured, And Continue To Hurt Thru-Out Time. It Doesn't Get Easier, As My Two Younger Sister Say. There Are Reason, Why The LORD Calls Us HOME TO HIM. It Us All Written In The Book Of Life. Some Days Seemed To Noo End. Time Is Showing Itself To Me Now. This Life As We Know Is Soo Beautiful, Only When We Have The Greatest Emotion. The LOVE OF GOD WITH IN THE HEART. Nothing Compares To Love. Money Can Rent Us This Or That. lol.. I Am In Preaching In Any Form, Especially On KZbin. I Just Seen Your Comment, Just Maybe Ya Reading My Comment Helps Someway Someday. One Day We ALL Will Understand.. "All My Love" Should I fall out of love, my fire in the light To chase a feather in the wind Within the glow that weaves a cloak of delight There moves a thread that has no end For many hours and days that pass ever soon The tides have caused the flame to dim At last the arm is straight, the hand to the loom Is this to end or just begin? All of my love, all of my love All of my love to you now All of my love, all of my love All of my love to you now The cup is raised, the toast is made yet again One voice is clear above the din Proud Arianne one word, my will to sustain For me, the cloth once more to spin All of my love, all of my love All of my love for you now All of my love, all of my love All of my love to you child Yours is the cloth, mine is the hand that sews time His is the force that lies within Ours is the fire, all the warmth we can find He is a feather in the wind All of my love, all of my love All of my love to you now All of my love, oh, yes All of my love to you now All of my love, all of my love All of my love love Sometimes, sometimes Sometimes, sometimes All of my love, all of my love All of my love to you now All of my love, all of my love All of my love to to you, you, you I get a little bit lonely Just a little, just a little Just a little bit lonely Just a little bit lonely

I've loved this song since it first came out when I was in junior high. But I didn't learn until many, many years later that Robert Plant wrote the song for his five-year-old son Karac, who died from a sudden illness while Plant and the band were on tour. John Paul Jones' haunting keyboard solo echoes the pain in Plant's voice. Since then, I've never been able to hear this song without thinking of how blessed I am that my children are all healthy. But it always reminds me of every parent's greatest frar.
