Can you believe this song started as a folk song that Jimmy Page took and rearranged into this? They were each beyond talented from the very start.

Belated reply, but that's one of the unique things about Zeppelin: how their music can sound as timeless and fresh back when their first album came out in 1969, as it does today if listening to their music for the first time. In other words, with most bands that came out during that time period (1960s), their music sounded like it came from the '60s. Bands like The Who, Rolling Stones, etc., all sounded like the 1960s rock scene (which they eventually outgrew), but when Zeppelin's first album came out, nothing sounded like it , and it didn't sound like it came out of the '60s. It just sounded killer good! That's why Zep's music will always endure, because ppl of all eras dig on their timeless sound. Marie, can I suggest playing "Bring It On Home" by Zeppelin? If you like this tune, I think you'll like that classic, as well ;)

You have quickly become one of my favorite reactors . it started with your love of Led Zeppelin , but the more I watch - I just like "hanging out " with you . this song I think is about him having to go on tour with the band but not wanting to leave her

@@journeymariereacts You're welcome! I truly enjoy your reviews. Have you had a chance to look into arguably the greatest guitar player, Jimi Hendrix or The Doors? I would love to see you review those 2 legendary Artists from late 60s-early 70s. So many hits songs in their discographies.

I always Explain this one to the Reactors. Great, enthusiastic Reaction to This by the way. 😁 But this Song is ZEPPELIN's rendition of a Joan Baez Song From the Late 50's. It's Loosely based on the Journal of A US Soldier based I Think, in Puerto Rico, falls in Love with a Local Girl, and Agonizes over being Re Assigned.

You should have watched the one with the footage of young Zep in early '69. Check it out. The repetitive visuals in this one give me a headache. Great reaction though thumb 👍
