This whole album is what makes them the single greatest hard rock band in history. Period. This song is an absolutely pulverizing slide guitar manifesto. Then to have the Wanton song. Every member of Zep is 100%. Although I would like to point out that Jimmy Page was involved in practically every aspect of Zep's songwriting, recording, live sound, and production on every level. Look at his history pre Zep, he was honing his skills live and as a studio musician for years and just waiting to unleash the beast that became Zep. Look at the production credits on all the albums as well as everything that has been released post Zep. It's basically all Pagey. Genius at work. Cheers from the canadian Queen nut.

I had my next door neighbor's son in my car yesterday and of course, there are decades between our ages. I asked him if he liked Led Zeppelin and he said yes. I got this triple box set out and put this one on. He was blown away! He was in a lot of pain because he had been in a car accident and had broken his pelvis. I was taking him to get medical marijuana at the weed store. Yes, it's finally legal here. He had eaten an edible and was in much less pain on the way home and asked to hear it again. He said, "I've gotta go home and tell my friend's about this! That made me so happy! He said I was the coolest older person he'd ever known! That made my week! Yes, I still carry CD's in my car. Haha! GRREAT reaction bros! Keep them coming! Let's not forget that hard driving base from John Paul Jones!

@@tammieparrishmiller3669 about three years for recreational. And several years before that for medical Big business here with the tourists and all. You might find it interesting to google where it’s legal. Quite a few states…..and of course the entire west coast…..recreational as well as medical. Colorado too. Illinois late to the party! ✌️😁 I looked it up ‘cause I was curious. 18 states completely legal and some form of medical legal in most others only TWO states have no legal use still. I was surprised to see that the hold outs were Idaho and Nebraska, for Pete’s sake. If you look up cannabis laws by state there’s a really cool map that shows gradations of legality by state. Worth a look just for fun

@@helenespaulding7562 It should have been done a long time ago. Actually, it never should have been outlawed in the first place. Big pharma is so greedy that they would rather see us suffer and go broke. Yes, it's legal here recreationally as well but I guess you know that now. What really blows my mind is that alcohol is legal and you can drive to any tavern or club and walk out to your car after some hours of pounding them down and drive away. I'm not against drinking but I am against driving under the influence and that includes weed. There's a time and a place for those things. I was stoned all the way through to the 11th grade before I quit. My senior year, all of my grades went up a letter. Something to think about. Believe me, I love to hang out and have a hit or two and a few drinks and of course have some good rock n roll to set the mood. I just make sure I've got a sober ride home. On a lighter note, I was sure that once the gov't got involved with the sale of weed, it was gonna be dirt weed and would suck! Man, was I wrong! I'm now a two hit wonder! I like it that way though. Always a guaranteed good time! Good chatting with you. Hope I didn't go too dark. Believe me, I like to have fun and it's always been a thing with me, I don't want to drink without a couple of hits and I don't like to smoke unless I'm gonna have some drinks. Not an everyday smoker, but I sure wouldn't want it to go away! Peace!

It’s weird to go to the pot store these days…,., looks like an Apple Store or optometrists..,,, very clean and sterile. I much prefer the old “head shops”. Those were a blast. In My Time of Dying” is a song that already had a long history by the time Led Zeppelin recorded their version, which was included on their 1975 double-LP Physical Graffiti. It was Josh White’s “Jesus Gonna Make Up My Dying Bed”, recorded in 1933 and catalogued on Document Records, that Jimmy Page cited as the inspiration for “In My Time of Dying”.

"In My Time of Dying" (also called "Jesus Make Up My Dying Bed" or a variation thereof) is a gospel music song by Blind Willie Johnson. The title line, closing each stanza of the song, refers to a deathbed and was inspired by a passage in the Bible from Psalms 41:3 "The Lord will strengthen him upon the bed of languishing, thou wilt make all his bed in his sickness". Numerous artists have recorded variations, including Bob Dylan and Led Zeppelin.

Yes, John Bonham was ONE of the greatest drummer out there, but, remember Neil Peart from Rush, you did a reaction of his drum solo 3 months ago. Along with Neil, there's Kieth Moon from The Who and then there's Black Sabbath's Bill Ward, all these drummers have things in common, they all played in phenomenal bands that played in the 70's and they've all passed away, there's still a particular great drummer who fortunately is still alive, Phil Collins, who also came from the 1970's. Honestly, ALL of these drummers were great in their own right. Led Zeppelin's "Physical Graffiti" is a fantastic album, a masterpiece, hope you do more from this album. This was really cool, thanks!

Patrick. You are right. This album was recorded in Headley Grange an estate. And Bonhams drums were set up in the hallway

This version is better than the live version at Earls Court. Here, the drums are so much better, and Jimmy’s guitar riffs and solos here are top notch.

IMTOD is definitely killer! You will have to check out the live Earl's Court version, which is also killer! kzbin.info/www/bejne/roXVgmqsir-mf9E There is no weakest link in Zeppelin.
