Actually Led Zeppelin ask Tony Thompson, of the band Chic and The Power Station, to play drums with them. Phil Collins, all be it a great drummer, was added for "star appeal".

phil collins was in the beginning of being diagnosed with Nerve damage , luckily Toni Thompson from the band "Chic" and "the Power Station " was there playing drums as well ...
