Arghhh!!!! This is such great looking footage. So fragmented though, My mind has to fill in all the blanks. Can you imagine having this angle on the band for an entire song?😢

I guess they want to keep the video monetised. LZ would snatch it up if there were full songs.

@@castleanthrax1833 Lol no. I don't make a cent off these videos. People would shoot small sequences on Super 8 to try and conserve film. A cart was only 50ft of film, or about 3.5 minutes long at 18fps.

I think this is the end of Jimmy page’s golden period of being a live guitarist. He was still good after this. Don’t get me wrong, but there was a certain edge to his live playing that was never the same after the 73 tour. I assume it was due to a combination of substance abuse and hand issues. Anyway, thank you so much for this.

I would say, it was after the '75 tour. There is a particular video of them doing In My Time of Dying, that features Page at his scary best, playing slide on a double neck. I think it was at Earls Court. Anyway, it was a tour d force. As '76-'78 came along, post Presence, he diminished quickly for obvious reasons......

With this brief footage, Jimmy seems different than he is by the time we get to July. Here, he seems more in sync with himself (the best way I can put it) and perhaps thats the difference with these gigs... compared to the rest of the tour. It's subtle and perhaps subjective but I see it.
