You are amazing the way you are. Thank you so much for sharing with me. I didn't know that about Page. Your words are both kind and healing to me. I have with time, developed and continue to develop elaborate rationales to make the lone wolf life more comfortable. Thank you so much. Sincerely sending lots of good wishes your way. 🙂❤️🤘🏾

One question I have, why do a live performance, then keep your eyes closed, might as well just do the studio version then.

I must apologize. It's an involuntary reflex to good music, when Bonham throws me off with a surprise,.. all of them do what they do. If I were to analyze it, perhaps it's because other senses are heightened when one is made unavailable at that moment, or perhaps because it transports me from the walls of the room to a more magical place, or both 🤔 🤷🏾‍♂️ . I prefer live music because of the improvisations and surprises, the raw, unfiltered realness of it. But I will make an attempt to pay attention to both. 🙂🤘🏾

@@TheRealBabaRaakha it’s just my eyes are glued to what they are doing, believe me I know their music is amazing, I’ve loved them for about 50 years. After listening to studio versions for decades, I love being able to watch them perform the shows, I also love the improv it adds so much more.

Buying it is for rich people. I owe my introduction to great music from torrentz. Looking back at this video, I realized I was so immersed in the music, I barely looked at the video. Is the music, the performance what I was recommended, or am I completely off here?

@@TheRealBabaRaakhayou can buy rent or watch the movie for free on KZbin, the free version has short commercials. Two of their best or my favorite lives are. Since I’ve Been Loving you, live at Madison Square Gardens (1973). The other is, In My Time Of Dying Live at Earls Court (1975), both will blow you away.

No Quarter means as the lyrics in the song suggest was a British law "No quarter during the US Revolutionary War when Great Britain enforced a policy requiring colonial Americans to house British soldiers and offer them food and a bed during the cold of winter. If this policy was refused to a British soldier, this "No Quarter" policy allowed the British soldier to invoke severe punishment (death, sometimes) on the American who refused him.. That's is what the song is about the US revolutionary war & the No Quarter policy ,,it's brilliant.

Thank you sincerely for explaining that. I tend to listen to the instruments first, starting with the guitar but lyrics are something I have always had to work towards to even register. Appreciate it. More legendary music on the way. 🤘🏾 PS - Led Zeppelin lyrics seem to allude to historical incidences, and I personally like that, as opposed to what we have now.

You think Zeppelin wrote a song about the American Revolutionary War? You are correct about the meaning of the title ….but the phrase much more broadly means “no mercy” in battle, and that’s how it’s used here. But the song itself in no way is about the Revolutionary War. It speaks of “armor”. That’s medieval. It’s also mythological and based on the stories of Tolkien…Lord of the Rings…..”He takes the path where no one goes” refers to Aragorn, in the LOTR taking the Paths of the Dead in order to bring the Spirits of the dead to the battle at Minas Tirith. Robert Plant was an avid fan of Tolkien and several of Zep’s songs have such lyrics in them (Ramble On is another). Plant was and is an avid reader of British medieval history and fascinated with Welsh and Norse mythology. All that comes into play in this song….and others, such as The Immigrant Song.
