I was at this concert. I wish I could say that I fully remember it. 🙂 I would have stayed lucid had I known at the time I was a small part of Rock history. So many good concerts at the ol' Cap Center...anyone else? Epic

I was there too. An incredible show. Was just 17. Ears rang for about a week but didn’t care. Different time. LZ kicked ass like no band these days can even come close to! Miss those days

I saw so many different people at the old Capitol Center. But ZAPPA, Parliament-Funkadelic and Yes stand out in that 70's era. Those bands were super tight at that time. 🎩🎼🎩

I suppose to be fair, most Zep songs were pretty complex musical arrangements. To play their songs live without a rhythm guitar or two, and full blown keys had to be tough. JPJ did a fantastic job of filling in all the blank space with his bass. Jimmy was the master of the studio and a terrific musician. But pulling off those songs live while battling chemical demons had to be a challenge.
