Best thing ever recorded. Every guitar note, riff and lick. Every drum beat, roll and fill. The Hammond organ just filtering through in the delicate moments leading up to the most effective crescendos imaginable. I think I’d even love this without any vocals. Then the vocals. Oh my frickin GOD! And when it’s almost done he tells us “just one more, JUST ONE MORE!” and then “SIIIIIIIINNNCCCE I’ve been loving you”. If this is not the most amazing contribution to the ocean of sound then shut up because it is. Happy Valentine’s Day everyone.

@@KeithRowley418 Yeah, you're sick and tired because you have a choice to be sick and tired or leave it. Black people don't. Assuming that it's the best white blues song out there does not take away its magic of the song. I consider myself a connoisseur of their material; This is, in my opinion, the superlative guitar solo of Jimmy Page's entire career. I have listened to this track so many times that, in my head, I know every note from three and a half minutes in to four and a half minutes. Having grown up in, and lived in that era, two bands rule: Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin, the only two I still listen to.

@@gsxrkz ..to be honest with you, the more I think about it, I would agree because I think it is very original music and there is no band that even remotely sounds like them. I think the Rolling Stones are unique, as well as the Beetles. However, each group has their own identity and overall vibe. I also enjoy Metallica, the Scorpions and other bands, however they are very different then Led Zeppelin.

Wow! Is all I can say every time I hear this song. Correction, any Zeppelin! Thanks to my grandma, I was already exposed to the blues at eight years old in 1970, the year this fantastic, priceless, unforgettable music was given to us. Really started listening to Zeppelin in the 80's and never stopped. Seems when I come back every few months, the songs only get better.

Вопрос? Как можно было в 22-26 лет так чувствовать музыку, так жить в ней, чтобы написать ,сыграть и спеть этот шедевр. И ведь все их поколение в разных группах в то время были совсем молодыми! Откуда этот дар божий?

I will always remember. 1987. I lost my only true love, and I tried every way possible to fix it. Sitting in the break room at work. Driving home. At home alone for hours on in. Listening to this song, and Tea for One. Over and over and over. I thought at that time that Robert Plant and Jimmy Page were the only two people in the World who knew what I was feeling. I am in a much better place today. But I will always be grateful for this beautiful music. Thank you Led Zeppelin.
