.... And its not even really close. The Beatles maybe but that would only be for songwriting. Not pure musicianship

A masterpiece. If it were a painting, it would be framed and displayed in the Louvre in Paris.

The opening of this song should be a song of it's own!

This song has always been sort of a best Kept secret. I've been listening to LZ since 1976 and didn't discover this song until the late 1980s, because it never got radio air play, and it was never on MTV and I prioritized all of the other albums over Presence. . LZ and Jimmy Page inspired me to learn guitar at age 12. This is just a great bluesy riff and fun to play. 56 now and still loving this song. On Presence, Most people only know the song "Nobody's Fault but mine" but Tea for One, is definitely the most creative masterpiece of this album

Plant his family & Pages daughter were in a bad car accident, the kids were OK. Plant crushed his leg, & they didn’t know if he’d walk again, he was in a wheelchair for about a year. His wife had a skull fracture, they both had other injuries too. Something to do with taxes, they had to record this album in the US, the whole album recorded while he was in that wheelchair. With him & his wife both badly injured, he missed being away from his family. The song is about time going so slow, until he can be back home. Great reaction thank you.

It’s hard to pick a favorite, just about every song is excellent, would be easier to say what we don’t like. I was about 13 when I became a fan, I’m now 62. In the car with my 24 year old son the other day, he turned up the radio, when Stairway to Heaven came on. I always play Sirius XM classic vinyl, all the great rock songs.

Fuuny how this tune was favorite in headphones in 1977 when I was 11 yrs. old, and how cool it is to see younger generations liking it. For rock music, this is timeless.

Thanks for doing these. Bonham has the best snare drum. Especially on this album. I would suggest Achilles Last Stand next. Cool 😎 man. Keep rolling...
