Welcome to my channel! This is a music reaction channel. For the longest time, I've loved creating content on the internet. I started off with a gaming channel right here on KZbin, which eventually turned into a Twitch gaming channel, but as time has gone on I've evolved into doing other things on KZbin. For years now I've wanted to create a music channel on KZbin, and recently just figured "why not?", so it’s time to give this a go! Give me any suggestion you have for music reactions, and I will do my best to get around to them. As music has fallen further out of my life, I figured this would be a great time to get reintroduced to music.

Yes. Even more so now. My wife surprised me by walking down the isle to the instrumental part right after first verse. She passed away 3 years ago after giving birth to our 2nd daughter 2 months prior.

Consider at the time of this performance, most of the crowd were hearing these songs for the first time, as this album, Houses of the Holy, was just released. Imagine how mind blown they were to hear these the first time, live.

This is the BEST VERSION OF THIS SONG...HANDS DOWN ..been a zeppelin fan since 76..saw them in Chicago in 77... from then on had always been my favorite band .. and this song from Madison Square..in fact every song on this live album.. is so much better then any of the other versions out there.. including studio..

Ok you are ready for this concerts Dazed And Confused...28 minutes of Jimmy killing tat guitar and you will never see anything else like it again!! Also there is a song called Celebration Day (NOT the 2007 concert with the same name) and also The Ocean and Whole Lotta Love from this concert too! Please watch them all!! When you're done with msg...next Earls Court 1975. They play 3 amazing acoustic songs along with In My Time Of Dying...these will each BLOW YOU AWAY!!

@@juliemanarin4127 Absolutely! Everyone always brings up Hendrix and a few others, and they are great, but no one mixes the scales and modes the way Jimmy Page does to produce the emotive moods that is his trademark. None of the other greats can do that!

Love both of these songs and your reaction to them. I actually prefer the live version of The Song Remains the Same over the studio version, but the opposite is true for The Rain Song. Since you were really into it, I highly recommend that you give the studio version a listen when you have the time. To me, it's more "powerful". Sometimes what Page did in the studio couldn't easily be replicated live, and this is one of those cases. Not that the live version wasn't great, because it was! :)

Jimmy uses the double neck guitar...the 12 string for The Song Remains The Same and the 6 string for The Rain Song!! As always perfect transition between both songs!!

This truly is the only way to listen to these two songs. They're off the "Houses of the Holy" album and when they played them in concert Jimmy, or Robert, thought they should be played together. There was a live version from '73 at MSG floating around but its been taken down.
