My father was a classically trained organist. We had a Leslie speaker in dad's music room for many years. I loved the sound so much that when I was able to get one for my own music room I jumped at it. I'm a guitar player so I run it off a guitar amp head, but it sounds great!😊

I am a bassist and guitar player and therefore I'll always pay special attention to those but I must admit that the drums are what makes this song. Those pauses, the fills and the way intensity picks up during the chorus....Bonham masterclass

I am one of your older listeners. A 72 year old black guy who played bass in an LZ cover band in Hawaii back in the early 70’s. This music was banging. We were a mix of guys from the South, Kentucky, New Mexico and California. This music made us stand up and listen. We learned ll of LZ from the first through 4 or 5. What a ride. What a RIDE! Every new album was a religious experience.

you have to try and remember that back in the day... we put the album or cassette on and just let it play.... and then start if over again....For me, I ended up liking almost everything... and loving most of them.... and a couple that took me all these years later to actually love.... and that's the lemon song lol.... after these guys did the review... Another great one guys. La, you hit the nail on the head when you said Zeppelin is unpredictable -- that's one way in which they really do stand out from the pack. Every song is a journey, and you just never know where it's gonna go -- heavy, light, slow, fast. They really take you on a ride. I think that's why their music still sounds so fresh, fifty (!!!) years later.

One of the first Zep tunes I learned on the guitar - it’s still one of my favs to play - his chord choices in this tune are wild and it hits hard. This is a great example of the less is more = keep it simple rules - it’s not what you play - it’s what you don’t. There’s no fat in this tune - it only has what you need. Haha Thanks for sharing!
