Ledaig 18 year Old V Caol Ila 18 year Old Whisky Review

The third and final instalment (for now!) of our 18 year old whisky comparison review. This time we're on the Islands of Mull and Islay for the peat monsters!

Creosote is my favourite tasting note FYI. If you do a review and mention that; I'll end up buying it regardless. I used to paint fences with creosote as a kid and it's such a relatable smell!

I think the Lediag edged it for me, i couldn't agree more with Jen about younger Caol Ila's.

Yes, definitely, never had a bad Caol Ila but the younger ones have a bit more character! That Ledaig though!

Haha.....Creosote (and distant cowshed) would be a great combo in my view. A Kilkerran might fit the bill....great review. I just recently got a hold of a Let-chick 18 which is impossible to find in Alberta.....I had to buy it from a shipper in Edinburgh. LOL. It was fun to see how it would all work out but after all the taxes and shipping it was very close to 100 pounds. That's kind of steep but I am looking forward to opening it. Slainte my friends. From nice and offensive to Glasgow spam in one video, you two should work on the SMWS tasting panel :) As a kid one of my chores was to paint the fence and shed with creosote, I used to hate that smell, so how did I end up like drinking something with that same note? How does that happen?
