Why not conduct due diligence from the word go. What if they're irrevocable commitments that were already made. Possible afterthought due to pressure from the public. Opiyo Wandayi was busy defending the same deal, which means the cabinet had approved of it. Can we see an open international request for proposal floated, and an independent team appointed to review the offers. This team should comprise of the auditor general and other highly competent oversight personnel and not the parliamentarians.
