Ledebouria Socialis Silver Squill originally come from South Africa and during spring they bloom beautiful flowers on stems, about 20 - 25 flowers each. Sometimes they have multiple flower stems, which is really a real treat to see so I wanted to show what they look like. Also to show you that even after transplanting them 8 weeks ago they did quite well and are on the path of multiplying.

Yes we only had 1, it was so tiny, but looked really cool with the spots, and now they have multiplied in the last 4 years to all this. Hope you both have lots of fun and praying for safe travels to Wyoming, are you flying or driving?

They could be, ours keep growing and popping up as well, you might need to replant and put lower in soil. Ours have flourished and all the green pots are overflowing and I need to repot them again. I have never seen Ledebouria Socialis before. But they are lovely plants. The flowers are beautiful. I am not great at growing plants so our garden is looking pretty bare these days. But if it is as easy as you describe to care for these, then I may need to find some to add. Thanks for sharing!

Thank you for your comment Claude, we have ours in indirect light but still bright outside. We have some indoors in our living room that doesn't get too much light, and they are growing very thin and lengthy trying to grab sunlight. Also no need to water too often, they don't like to be overwatered, maybe once a week, twice a week, you'll just have to play with it, depending on how much light and temperature, if it gets dry water it, but it doesn't like too much water and it get waterlogged. Good luck and they are so pretty, especially right now when they are flowering. Hope you have a wonderful day!
