jimmy page... no other guitarist ever has put music together like he does. he does it all from psychedelic, blues, straightforward rock, to some of the most beautiful melodies ever like Going to California. not only was he a guitar prodigy but in my opinion, the greatest musical mind in all of rock. He is so humble sweet gorgeous of course. My moms bff owned the biggest limo service in Detroit. It was my birthday suddenly I see a stretched limo pull up of course I’m really confused. Valerie said your chariot awaits birthday lady…I instantly started crying. He said no crying for birthday girls. He is an absolute joy to spend time with. I could listen to him all day long!! Gettin’ the Led out since 1969. I still listen to Zep & Roberts solo work everyday. I saw page & Plant twice and Planty with Alison. He is truly a master of his craft🎤🔥🎧⚽️🦁☮️

I know exactly what you mean. I was a huge Zeppelin fan as a teenager although their music came out during my oldest sister's teenage years. I was totally in love with Robert Plant and for some reason, never paid Jimmy much mind. However, the recent airing of " Song Remains the Same" on VH1 has got me totally obsessed with him. When I see him in his younger days playing guitar for Zeppelin, I can relate to all of those crazed Beatle fans! It really does cause an ache in your heart.

Jimmy didn't sound like other guitar players. I've seen all of the technical guitarist. And, they are technical playing guitarists, but they sound incredibly just like each other too. The Sept 4th, 1970 show from the LA Forum is a phenomenal show-the bootleg is called "Live on Blueberry Hill"-they played Fats Domino's song Blueberry Hill, there's an amazing version of "Thank You" on this one-it's incredible, I think, if I recall correctly Robert ad libbed some of the words to Since I've Been Loving You-the words are amazing, I believe Jimmy playd Bron-Y-Aur at this show-it might be one of the performances of that song.
