one of the marvelous things about the original recording is the restraint Tramaine shows throughout the first two-thirds of the song. The squalling and upper range belting doesn't start until almost the fade-out. We all know Ledisi can belt out high notes in full voice. She could have shown more restraint dynamically and in terms of pitch. Her performance was wonderful but kind of the vocal equivalent of a whooping preacher starting his sermon at the end. There's nowhere to go when you start at the top.

I heard Ledisi for the first time some years ago in Cleveland Ohio at a Martin Luther King birthday celebration concert at the Rock and roll Hall of Fame I did not know who she was had never heard of her but the girl, not only did she sing phenomenally but she ministered and witnessed all through the time she was on the floor to let you know that she served the Lord she loved God and she gave God the Glory for all that she had accomplished. Hey Haikeem! It's the Samsung GC200! It's a 21x Zoom and 100% optical zoom! It's actual a computer as well with a 4.5 inch viewing screen. It has all the apps like a cell phone & you can upload your videos directly from the camera. I was sitting right beneath the bacony (about 20 rolls back) and still got great footage! I just bought a monopod so the next time it wont a strain to hold it up.
