this moment between optimistic and in limbo is the zenith of radiohead for me. i remember hearing this the first time and feeling like I was in space. its like they build all their sounds and textures from some future access point during ok computer, kid a, and amnesiac. nigel guided them all along this thread and thom and johnny just grabbed these ethereal riffs from the exosystem, ed built these extra terrestrial textures, colin tuned into some low frequency transmission and phil relayed all of it through some polyrythmic time signature based code. but during this little outro youre transported to a little outlook on a colony sipping java between brightness and infinite void
