Ok first off, why are you so handsome Sir?! Like seriously. Such a beauty of a man. On and off screen. I'm so obsessed. And I love his narration. I love the story about his mom. I love his portrayal of The Frontman and of Young-li. And I agree with him that watching season 1 and 2 back to back makes the whole thing even more entertaining and ties up the pieces of the puzzle neatly. I'm rewatching 1&2 after watching 2 as a standalone and it's mind-blowing. Also he looks great with any hairstyle. I wish they (Netflix/Squid game) would explore his story as In-ho in a prequel show. He's too charismatic and rich of a character to not carry a show.

As far as he knew when accepting the role, it was a role in a risky project in which he would not even show his face until the last minute.

I don't think he was scheming or actively planning to double-cross the players the whole time - I think he wanted to see if Gi-Hun's compassionate philosophy would go the distance, and only lost faith in him after their conversation about sacrificing other players for the sake of the rebellion.
