there is also one thing, if you guys realised whenever LCW gets a new racket he'll defeat LD once... AE2011 is Voltric 80... Korea Open 2012 is Voltric Z-Force... so i hope to see LCW gets a new racket just for the olympics... in other occasions i support only LD... but in olympics i'll support LCW as hoping he'll win malaysia's first ever olympic gold medal...

As far as I'm aware, your world ranking is decided by the points you earn throughout the year, so the fact that LCW is number 1 means overall he earns more points than LD. These points are based upon how far you get in each tournament (be it superseries or another ranked tournament). So it might be just due to the fact LCW plays more tournaments and in doing so rakes in more points.

backhand serve is a strategic move. this is intended for your opponent to lift the shuttles and opportunity to gain better option in your next shot. of course to master backhand serve is not easy high serve is easier to perform and make your opponent off balance. this type of serve give better advantage for beginner and intermediate player. Against more experienced player, high and deep would end up giving them some options, such as clear, drop or smash (and they would dictate the rally)

I have seen many games between these two players. I am a LCW fan but admire LD as well. It is not w/o reason that LD won more times than LCW. I think, in most of the matches, unlike most of the players, LD could neutralise LCW’s speed, but when LCW gets more aggressive in terms of attacking, like in the 3rd game here LD loses his selfconfidence. Besides, it was fantastic to see that LCW did not lose his faith and kept playing with pokerface in spite of his obviuos disappointment until the half of the match.

while on the other hand we saw LD passing by and said in chinese "LD can we take a picture with you?" LD simply replied "sure you can... come" very easy... just to say that LD play for the fans while LCW says he plays for his country but in reality he only play for himself... LD loses only when he is being boooed or not getting support at all like in this match and against Jan 'o'.... LD's form in 2008 olympic compare to LCW now is a hard 10 against a 6... in 2008 was a hard 10 against a 2...

LinDan was considered one (if not the best) of the best players of all time. But I don't like his attitude on court. During the 3rd set there were a lot of very close calls from the line judges which he thinks is incorrect. And then you could see that he is not happy about it. I mean.... Yes, sometimes the line judges' calls can be questionable and during that period when hawkeye has not been introduced yet, it could be frustrating for the players, and there's nothing they could do. So instead of focusing on the next point, He tends to be too affected by these 'uncertain' calls from the line judges.. For me, The best thing is try to focus on the next point and try to place your shots in less risky areas so that you won't get these tricky situations when you doubt the line judges calls.

if LD were to bring up the form from 2008 olympics it will be a doom toward all his opponents... all will only get below 10... but LCW now could get 13 or 14 against that kind of play... if you all watch it again for the 2nd set in olympics you can see that LCW didn't really played bad but simply superbly outclassed by the greatest form badminton world has ever seen from any player...simply knows where to go and apply the kill even though LCW played with variety.... but i also hope that LCW wins

someone said that all malaysians are behind LCW but 17% malaysian is definitely behind LD and not LCW... we all see in the cameras that LD is the arrogant one and LCW is the humble one... but not us 17%... LCW is very hard to get a picture with, me and my friends had to wait like 3 hours until i said outside his room "Wei Dato'... even if you're so busy can't you just step outside and take a picture with your fans?" only then did he stepped out.... he only comes easily when people pay him +10000

Hey! i'm a decent badminton player & train with my university fellows.i play both doubles & singles.I don't have exceptional wrist but good at smashing yet not so good with techniques(trying to learn).I've to buy Best badminton racket within the budget of 150-200$. Looking for Yonex/Li Ning or Maybe victor although i haven't had chance to try victor,had good experience with yonex nanoray 600 & li ning n55.If somebody is aware of any helpful information pls suggest best for me.
