Awesome video, your production standards for combo guides are always incredible, great job :) Only one thing to point out, since we are talking about optimals: For blazing kick you can actually use slide to get a bit higher dmg that the ssl route, if you want to push for wall carry instead of ending in b4 - d3 or bb4 - ff3. Something like this: d,db+4 (Blazing kick) - bb4 - bb4,3 - HIT - df,d,df:3 (slide) - ws2,3 - ws1,2 - f2,1 (deals 87 dmg) Deals 1 more dmg than the ssl bb4 combo if pushing for wall. In open spaces it's better to do the ssl bb4 one though, since you can end in a spike. In heat you could do something like this: d,db+4 - bb4 - bb4,3 - HIT - slide - ws2,3 - ws1,2 - b2f - heat - b2f - ff3f - head dash - ff3 or iwr3,4 Although the b2f after the heat engage is pretty tricky, so it can be skipped.

thanks for the compliment, glad you like the video. It's an interesting idea to use slide in combos however, in this video specifically I removed all the inconsistent routes from previous video, I was going to add the slide route in situational combos but in the end it's simply not worth it since b4, into d3 ender always gives higher damage than any other route. Since this is not a max damage video and all the combos are supposed to be optimal staples, I tried to keep it simple.

1:00 you can sidestep right to make it guarantee 2:50 for max damage you can do a dash sidestep left bb4 dash d2 b243 fff4:1 (extremely hard on Small character like Lee and Xiaoyu easy on medium side tho) 4:10 as for this do a full sidestep left into bb4 b243 fff4:1 imo easier than b2 loop and even more damage 9:32 From ff3 heatdash you can do bb4 ff4 d2 which is Miirio combo which currently have the highest damage (don't remember the whole thing tho) Or my combo which i call the double spin combo Ff3f ff4 4u3 b243 b2f ws24 fff4:1 (really hard) dash b1 1+2 or deepdash f1+2 Can also be used in ws23 ff3f just replace the 4u3 with d2 since you have 1 less hit to use now Reason I'm recommending these combo is because Lee is known for execution so going for these hard combo will make opponent jaw drop if they know how hard it is :p

1:00 actually the delay makes it guaranteed not a side step. side step just makes it consistent because off-axis hit from b4 leave the opponent closer.

For the wall combo after hitman u4, db3+4 is a good option for oki. and if they stand up wr3 4 can leave you plus kinda risky if they don’t though

Can you in the future add what to do if you get a wall splat with a Heat Engager? It's a fairly common combo setup, and most characters don't have an obvious followup like dragunov's fff4 combo.

Not sure if this is just me or my stick just doesn’t work with lee but does anyone else back 2 loops not come out sometimes i always hold forward so it comes out but most of the time it just completely drops same for his back netural 1,2 when i try to connect these the move just wont come out for some reason.

Bit late of a response but you need to press back quickly right at the end of the mist step and then for a very short time you are able to do while rising moves.

Hey this may be a big ask but can you also make a vid on Chaobla setups, specifically of his unblockable d3+4. I've made a setup at the wall where you can high wall splat the opponent, into b4, then into the unblockable for a hilarious amount of dmg if they stand up/hold back to get up.... I believe it MAY catch one of their getup left or right but I'm not sure

Think of it like a double cancel you're cancelling the forward mist step with a backs way and before the backs way even starts cancelling it with 2, but never press b and 2 at the same time.

With b2 I do b2,f,f,b2,f,f so I tap forward twice then b2 again almost no timing involved. For the WS moves practise them outside of combos, complete most of the forward mist step, then press b and before you even see the backsway press 2 or whatever. Never back and 2 at the same time check out I'myourfather explaining it.
