No auto tune. No young kid squealing out the scales. No mention of a liquor brand,a car brand, a clothing brand. No self aggrandizing lyrics. This is music. Just soul.

We (fans) need this version of "faithful man" to buy, download, pick up at record store day...something. I want to snuggle with it.

sad enough.. good that there are still people left who buy music, it`s not just about to give the artist money, it`s more about show respect and recognition for the art! This is how it works and how it should be, at least we can be happy that we can listen and enjoy his music here on youtube :)

I was standing in a living room on 38th st in New Jersey, tripping my balls off... Alex was there, it was dead silent, he said I have something to make this right, he put this on and it absolutely changed my mood forever. Fast forward 10 years I'm currently tripping again and the first recommendation on KZbin is Lee Fields NPR tiny desk...... tell me it's a coincidence
He reminds me of Bobby womack. It's so good to see Soul music still going strong. This is why i don't depend on the radio for real music. A small % of it is worth listening to. God bless Mr. Lee.

BLACK MUSIC MATTER, Sincerely Mr. Lee Fields - Mario from Germany/Berlin ./.. Heard and found for the first time today at the Film or Series 'The Doubters' in season 1, episode 3, at min. 24:45! Such great timing because she is having a child and is screaming with Mr. Lee, background vocals, for the competition! Then the labours come again, change of scene, family, friends reach the message, they celebrate ... and every time this song pops up and boards in there with force; I was moved to tears and had to find the song ... because I knew Otis, Ray Charles, Womeck or Brown it's probably not ;) ... I'm very happy to have found something so horny and now promote all of Berlin :) Masterwork, Thank YOU 🙏🏼
