Haney looked like a monster back in the day, but compared to todays chunky and blocky looking champions he looks classical and sculpted in an epic way like a giant version of Frank Zane. Haney looks so much more commanding and more impressive than Heath in my book.

Lee Haney structure is fucking magnificent. Tall wide bodies with good overall muscle bellies. Even with the ridiculous amount of pharmaceutical advantage Phil has a hard time because he's just smaller man

I'm probably in the minority but I've never been a big Heath fan. His shoulders and arms overpower his front shots and he is just too narrow. Great back and condition but Lee Haney just flows a lot better. Insane v taper

Yeah, Phil's structure is not ideal for bodybuilding. He managed to be so successful due to his muscularity and conditioning but structure wise he stands no change against either Haney, Dorian, Ronnie, Jay or even Ramy.

No, I totally agree with you. 3:07, Lee was always criticised for his arms but they look great in most poses. 4:05 his front lat spread is amazing!! Lee's structure, and aesthetics make him a worthy candidate for the GOAT title? He's right up there with Arnold and Ronnie!!

Haney has superior bone/frame structure. Heath has more "3D balloon" muscle bellies. I'll still give the overall package to Haney for the classic symmetry and proportion despite Heath's better conditioning.

Lee Haney had the same things going for him Ronnie did. As far as gaining muscle with a frame that can handle it. Moreso actually. Haney was tall at 6ft, wide shoulder to shoulder, HUGE ribcage, incredibly tiny waist. (The ribcage for example is why he kills Phil in the ab and thigh. It's also why Haney and Coleman have such big chests) So yeah, he could have held mass even better than Ronnie did since his waist was smaller, his torso was bigger and he was taller. Haney didn't try to be the biggest. So with a different mindset in a different era... Wow. There is a reason him and Ronnie have 16 Mr O.

Lee Haney 8 x Mr Olympia who retired at 29 years old! Different era where big legs were looked down upon. Lee Haney absolutely blows Phil Heath away when you put everything into perspective . Phil was great but definitely not the best genetics overall. If Lee was to take all the drugs available these days he would've even blown Ronnie Coleman away

2011-13 Phil slightly, and I mean, slightly, beats peak Haney. However, like with Arnold, if Lee came up in today's era he would have been THE guy. He would have brought up his arms, legs and conditioning and been unstoppable against everyone but maybe Ronnie and Arnold.
