Actually, it was quite nonsensical. It was in the very early stages of the show and they were having the first round candidates come in for basically interviews with one of the judges to get some preliminary critiques. As part of the interview, they were supposed to sing part of a song that they were working on for the next round of competition. IIRC correctly, the contestant just before Lee Hi had an attack of the nerves and fell apart during the interview, with lots of crying and JYP just gave her a pep talk and let her go. Next up was Lee Hi, who came into the inteview very well prepared with a Korean song, but JYP cut her off after the first two bars and asked her to sing an Amy Winehouse song (Rehab) instead. Amazingly, Lee Hi was familiar enough with the song that she was able to get right into it after a few seconds of trying to recall it in her mind. She sounded quite good, and did it in the Amy Winehouse style, which is kind of a drowsy, inebriated way of singing, but keeping a solid rhythm. Bizarrely, JYP insisted that it needed to be sung JYP style, like an energetic dance song. He then told Lee Hi that she had a sleepy style and gave her a "disqualification" warning. Meaning, she had to sing it JYP's way in a special redemption round for "warned" people, if she wanted to go through to the next competition round. Of course she made it through and the rest is history. They never showed her singing Rehab in that redemption round, though, because the subject matter was deemed inappropriate for family audiences. (Thanks a lot, JYP, for making Lee HI sing a song about drug and alcohol rehabilitation. ;-) )

It's fun to watch the interview with Lorde where she talks about Lee Hi (Search on: Lee Hi Lorde Interview ). I totally agree with her opinion about Lee HI's sultry voice. Lee Hi is one of a kind and I hope she comes out with a bunch of new songs this year.

Daniela Ramírez Yep. YG does seem to have a very full schedule of projects this year. I even heard that another 2NE1 album and a CL solo album may be in the works. But YG needs to at least find some spots for Lee Hi to release some singles maybe (which can later be included in a full album the way that 1234 and Scarecrow were included in First Love). There is some good news though. There was an announcement that Lee Hi and Winner will be performing on stage at some big fashion show event in Seoul in April. I don't know yet whether it will be a new song or a performance of an existing song.

I guess her come back album will be readily available after Big Bang's and the Asian Games .. like October/November?
