Merci, un immense merci Monsieur Konitz, de nous avoir tant fait plaisir, tant procuré d'émotions et de bonheur. Sans vous, la vie n'a plus la même saveur...

Thanks so much for capturing this moment. I couldn't believe how strongly Lee was playing that day, at age 92.

Loved lee. My favorite altoist. Remember seeing him at shelly's manne hole in hollywood with clare fischer and hersh hamel in the early sixties and later in vancouver canada with warne marsh in 1976. Loved his albums in harvard square, tranquility, motion, and lee konitz with warne marsh. So sad that he would pass in april, 2020. Will miss you Lee. Rest in peace🙏

Was never ever going to be the right time he always had so much to offer. More and more each year in fact. One of the all time greats. Bye Bye Blackbird.
