I've noticed if you wait until they finish their flip in ws 23 you have a higher hit rate with heat.

It whiffs mostly when ducking a high string and punishing it , usually moves that are -14 and ws2,3 it works just fine but when it comes to reinas ff2 into Sentai 3 (since it's duckable) it will end up whiffing xd

Imo it only connects consistently in male characters... I don't even try to do it on females cause you gotta be in a very specific angle to connect... I wish they fix that so it gets more consistent

That’s just one of the many situations that causes a whiff 😭. Sometimes it depends on what move you just ducked

@@Zimmer8000Gaming as far as i know i hit it on every duck tho.. after 1300 games lee didnt notice it whiffing on certain ducks only blocks. But thats rookie numbers so im not sure i guess

@@Altotla hmm, well one example I’ve noticed is that ducking Reina’s SEN 3 (I think? The plus on block high kick), and trying to punish with ws 2,3 makes the heat burst whiff.

@@Altotla Gotcha 🙏. Some other notable characters I’ve noticed causing this drop are Jin and Xiaoyu, but I can’t recall any specific moves atm.
