I had one of these in my collection (a D natural minor harp) for a long time without using it much. I recently picked it up again and was a bit surprised to find that it's also very good for playing F major cross harp (although the tuning gets weird in a few places in the higher range, but nothing that you can't get used to). In this regard, I suppose it's somewhat similar to a Melody Maker in F (which is a key in which a Melody Maker harp isn't yet available). I know that D minor and F are relative keys, so that wasn't a surprise. But it's nice to know that the blow-draw patterns work nicely in F major too and give some cool bluesy melody options that feel very natural.

This is a question that I have. I'm thinking about buying a natural minor harp, however to play on top of an E minor melody, do I get an E minor harp or do I cross-harp and get an A minor one?

@@victorsomething1138 Good question. These harps are labeled in their cross-harp position, so you use a harp labeled as "E minor" to play in E minor. But when you're playing you use the cross-harp blow-draw techniques. Hope this helps. (And when you get it, try using the harp to play in G major too! trust me, you'll dig it!).
