I personally am a christian. I have been saved - reborn - asked for forgiveness - child of God. I do not begrudge Lee for his opinion however. I have battled the "common sense questions" myself. I also happen to agree w/ Lee, on certain subjects. For one is judgement; I was raised in a circle of ppl, to include family members, that all day judge ppl around them, to include myself as I was growing up. Now that I am older and have my own head on my own shoulders I will believe and practice my belief as I see fit, as we all have the right to do. Personally I hold all christian's to the standards of THEIR religion. If you are christian you better act like one or I will call you out. Whether you are Mormon, baptist, catholic, seven day, Scientology etc, than be that and act like it. NO SINGLE RELIGION worships 'JUDGEMENT', so don't be Hippocrates. No, I am not perfect. therefore I most likely can be shamed at times too. What I try my very best at doing is not holding every damn person accountable as if they must "live up to" a certain standard that I create based on my own beliefs! In this case I am referring to any fans or followers or trolls of Lee's. Don't "cast Lee to hell" or label him because he may have offended you. A true christian would simply say a prayer for him(to themselves) and move on with their lives. This is meant not to only "protect" Lee, he is big boy and his answer is clear enough this is a message to all who in this world that we all must share that continuously want to hate on the next man or woman. Live by your own standards, and stop judging others just as you wish not to be judged and ridiculed. We all deserve that right. If not than I believe that's how hate becomes a problem with crime and separation of cultures. RESPECT and KINDNESS are the key words. I watched until 2:10, I don’t need to watch anymore to get the story. He was hurt by religion and just like many others he confused that with a true Christian. True Christians don’t go around judging and condemning others. In John 3:17 it says Jesus came to save the world not condemn it. God hates religion, theres bible verses to prove that. He’s actually a God of relationship and spirituality and love. No where in the Bible does it say “this is a religion”. The title Christian simply means a follower of Christ. Or a Christ like one. Or little Christ. Unfortunately many don’t actually live what that means. Jesus is nothing like the Christian pretenders. The hypocrites. Like I said God hates all religion. Man has made up many many religions. Including out of Gods word. However Gods word in the pure form properly interpreted with the help of the Holy Spirit is nothing like the way many have been preaching it and misrepresenting it. The Bible shows clearly many times the difference of religion and relationship. The first time we see this is in genesis with Cain and Abel. Where Abel was sincere to the lord and gave the best of what he had with his heart in it. And Cain was insincere and did not give his best. God wants our hearts not our performance. Jesus really came and took on flesh. He didn’t just manifest himself at 30 and start his Ministry. He put himself in the womb of a woman and grew up as a man. He did not come in his divinity. I won’t go into that. Anyways I grew up in the church and turned from it. Got into a lot of bad stuff. Long story short one day I cried out to God in surrender because I came to the end of myself and I knew I didn’t have long to live. I heard Gods voice very clear and I obeyed him. Which lead to me having a supernatural encounter with his Holy Spirit and I got reborn and healed. Changed on the inside never to be the same. This experience can’t be put into words. All I can say is I felt his power and comfort and love very strong. In me around me and on me. I’ve had many encounters with him sense. Continually learning to abide in his presence. And I’ve only been continually transformed. The gospel isn’t about me me me. Bless me take me to heaven. The gospel is about a life transformed. We are all lost sons until we receive his redemption. He paid the price to return us to our Original created value. We were made for his image. When Adam ate the tree man fell from God centered to self centered, evil, wicked, Selfish. But that’s not who we really are. We are made for his image and his blood is the way to returning to who he sees us as. He loves us and never abandoned us that’s why he sent Jesus. The Bible doesn’t say Jesus is the only way to heaven. The Bible says he’s the only way to the father. I challenge you guys to not look to the religious people who don’t really know and live the Bible. Get yourselves a Bible and you will see what I’m saying is true. More than that ask God to give you revelation because the scripture can’t be understood without the Holy Spirit.

Yeah dude, that's all nice, but it doesn't address the fact that the stories in your book are bullshit. You can't prove your god exists. It all goes back to knowlege through faith, which is insane. Faith is not the path to truth, for it has no mechanism to reach it. Reason and logic are. You can have faith in something that is true, but you can also have faith in something that is untrue. That right there tells you all you need to know about faith. Faith is a coin toss. Science put us on the moon. Faith gets you killed half the time.

For me it was watching workmen installing a lightning conductor on the local church. As someone with extensive experience with religion and atheism, I can tell you what you need to focus on and believe (Christian or not). Jesus likely lived and died as is written. The gospels were written within 30-50 years after his death and are preserved in the KJV (King James) version of the bible so only read that version, not any of the edits. With the exception of the Gospel of John, he is the only one of the four gospels that seem to stray a little from the others, so if you round out all 4 and get an average, you'll get the basic message and it is probably accurate. Don't bother with the old Testament - Period - As Lee pointed out. Unless, you, as Lee pointed out don't have a brain or a conscience in which case there are excellent stories in the Old Testament that help us to understand how to be better people. Focus mainly on Jesus. He was without sin and was perfect. The guy literally abstained from sex and probably masturbation. Try doing that and see what that does to you. He was perfect and so perfect he was killed off because he was a disruption to the ebb and flow of the natural dark hateful state of the world. Jesus being so loving, went along with it, he felt that he could serve humanity better as a spirit than one by one in the mortal body - This is not far-fetched, ask any nurse and they will tell you they've seen dead peoples ghosts not long after death. Ask any person that has died many will tell you they observed their resuscitation etc. So what should you do? Start by asking Jesus to bring the light and love into you so that you may radiate that love and that light to others around you. That is step 1 and it works well. Do it every day. You can also ask Jesus to show you how to live, how to eat healthily and to provide you with the knowledge for good health and good food. That is what Jesus does best - helps you stay healthy and whole in mind and body. Once you are getting comfortable with that and noticing Jesus showing you things and working within your life and changing you, if you want to step it up a notch and become more powerful, to the point where Jesus was, you'll need the Holy Ghost inside you. You'll need to call that inside you, it may take a few tries but keep trying, while in prayer to Jesus recite the following" Lord God on high, fill me with the Holy Ghost, in the name of Jesus Christ. Once you get the holy ghost you'll know, there is no mistaking it. You feel a tingling and a warm flame inside you. Your glow and your joy will overflow the first time you feel it come inside you. Once you have the Holy Ghost and are avoiding sin and of love and light in Jesus' ways, you will be without condemnation, try abstaining to notch up your power, and don't fornicate at all unless it's to be married. At this point, you'll possibly be able to perform faith works as Jesus did. That is not easy but can be done, try starting with small things before you attempt to faith heal other people. If you have an ailment, get out and call to God to fill you with the power of the Holy Ghost with the backing of the Lord Jesus Christ and heal you and make your ailment whole. Don't just ask for it, believe it. You won't have that power until you are without sin most likely as you need a huge amount of reinforcement to believe you are worthy and just to get the faith healing. I've done it and it works and I believe abstinence (from masturbation) and really walking in Jesus' footsteps is the best way to gain this power. As for walking on water or other miracles, who knows but they're all possible in the right circumstances. He did say not to test the lord but he also said, "All these things that I have done, you can do and more because I go to the father" What that means is that if you want to perform a miracle, asking Jesus not just praying to the Holy Ghost helps, as Jesus will back you if he feels it's needed and take it to the father for approval on your behalf. Lastly, although Jesus was likely just a man, he was the only perfect man - Literally, if there was a son of god he was it - Whether that was a self-fulfilling prophecy (being told by every man and his dog that he was the divine messiah from birth) or whether Jesus being born was actual fulfillment of a divine prophecy doesn't really matter. What matters is that he cried out to god in his final hour on the cross, as the darkness of sin came over him and he literally became sin so that he could wear all of the sin of the world, that is how much he loved us, that he was willing to take all of our sin on his body. He did this to die, so that he could help us as a spirit for eternity. He is there now waiting for you, call him in and watch your life begin to be purified.

@@vejeke I’m watching it. I must say already however, this sounds like the sort of particulars someone who doesn’t understand Jesus would obsess over. All it takes is to call Jesus into your life and ask him to show you the way and ask to be filled with Holy Ghost. After that you don’t need the Old Testament of the bible at all it’s largely irrelevant to your walk with Jesus all you need is Matthew mark Luke John and there are also great teachings by Paul in the other books of the New Testament. It doesn’t need to be an exact translation - don’t use this as excuse for atheism or turning away from the message of Jesus, he will show you the perfect way to live your life without condemnation and in blessing and health.

Lee, God "The One True GOD" is not religion, he is The Truth, father and creator of all!! If you truly think Jesus is not real why don't you open your heart at the age you are right now and be truly honest and open and pray to him asking him to forgive him for your sins and to guide you and if it is his will he will reveal himself to you. Give it 3 months and see what happens but you have to be truly honest and open hearted. I also left Sunday school because of the lack of clarity at a young age, so know alot of us who went to Sunday school and left God felt the same way. Now listen up boys, the bible is a road map its not meant to be taken literally. There's something strange going on in this world with karma, luck and coincidence that's YET TO BE DISCOVERED. The bible and all other religions are on on the trail to it, those things I mentioned can't scientifically be proven because they can't be seen or measured yet. Maybe someone will do honest research on luck and karma one day. But that's what the bible is trying to do. Also the stories are just big analogies to use as a reference for smaller things that happen in our lives, but they are true in a way. Used to explain something that has yet to be discovered. What I know from believing in Jesus is an absolute incentive to be righteous. If you do NOT believe in ultimate justice from Jesus, there is no true incentive to be righteous. If you believe in nothing, justice becomes subjective. Subjective justice is very dangerous for yourself and society, it will lead to greed, envy, anger, ego, depression and resentment towards life. One of Lee's greatest KZbin posts ever! And I've been following for along time. Lee, I can't believe how much alike we are. I am a former (state level) bodybuilder from the 80's. My mom took me to Sunday school when I was young; and my dad (divorced from my mom) took me to a movie called, "Darwin: The Galapagos Islands". I decided at a very early age in life what made more sense (not the Sunday school bible tall tales!!). I've also seen so much hypocrisy in life from Christians--like the fact when I was a teen, the married with three young children minister of a church who hired my mom to work as an assistant was fucking my mom behind his wife's back, and I know this because I was hiding in the attic and listening when he came over!. Or, my near drowning experience that took the life of a Christian friend, yet spared me, even though my belief system was well on the way towards being a non-believer. Anyway, I do believe humans needs for god beliefs will be the downfall of the race, and I appreciate your perspectives. You obviously display a good understanding of religion but also history (I was a history major in college). One question: do you think us common sense people with above average intelligence are maybe going "crazy" in a way because we are surrounded by so much stupidity and irrationality due to the majority of religious zealots out there? The bible was written from many different peoples' perspectives and views over thousands of years centering around the same person. If one person had written it, u may have a point Lee, but many many people wrote it. I can't see every single one of those first hand witnesses that lived in different time periods coming together to make a huge conspiracy that doesnt directly benefit them first hand. Remember, just bc we humans can't comprehend something or understand it scientifically, doesn't mean it doesn't exist. But you're entitled to your opinion and I respect that, not condemn you for it.
