A good romance doesn't just have skinship (and these too did have at least this scene and some other ones) but also a strong emotional bond, like him waiting for her and comforting her after her mothers visit, her always trying to help him out with the lone sharks etc... I wish they had a little more scenes like this but I really like they way they wrote the angst and the mutual support and respect for each other.

SAME.. Me too. In my case I accidentally see/watch this season 2 first then the season 1. I must admit I can't move on on the season 2 couple Woojin & Eun Jae. Probably with the same reason: THE STARE between this 2 especially Woojin to Eun Jae capture my heart more than the 1st season couple. From my perspective the 1st season couple have too fast bond especially with the kiss that happen even in the 1st episode that for my preference IT MAKE LOST THE SPARK. That's why I much the prefer this 2nd couple even though THEIR BOND THEIR BUILD IN SUCH VERY A SLOOOWW BURN (from their college years to their work year) but their relationship keep improve significant

The kissing scene was amazing. I never thought that they will do it passionately like this. I've seen their kissing scene in other dramas before but it was never this deep and passionate. So I was surprised with this kiss but more surprised with the bts of this kissing scene. The BTS was so more hot and passionate. They couldn't stop kissing each other. There was even a smooch sound when they kissed. Gosh. They should relly give us a special episode that focus on them or another drama or a variety or a photoshot or whatever the project with this two (ehm.. romcom drama ehm...) Thinking back, Woo Jin had been confessing his feelings to Eun Jae many times in his subtle but quite crystal clear way which we always wonder how on earth Eun Jae couldn't get it. But actually she got it, just had been hesitate due to the fear of the potential "breaking up". Perhaps she didn't recognize it herself but by telling Woo Jin she might be leaving, she actually was asking him to confess again (and stop her leaving). But our poor boy couldn't react the way she wanted, putting her interests above all all the time and also being not sure of her feelings for him. Hence, Eun Jae must be the one to cross that damn line first. Once that thin wall collapses, nothing can stop uri Woo Jin to hold her tight. I love that towards the end, they show subtly Woo Jin's gentle possessiveness of his girlfriend and Eun Jae's awareness and tolerance of his cute possessiveness (she literally asked for his permission to leave for a few days). After so many years having nothing, our poor Woo Jin finally has the most beautiful and smartest girl he loves and deserves. So happy.

that's so well said. He's been giving hints to her, and she was not clueless. She knows she likes him too, but she's always overthinking until something put them at the edge of being separated. Eun Jae always steps forward, that's why she decided to cross the line first when they were running out of time. I'm so happy for their love story and admire how beautiful it is. It's slow but really subtle and respectful. They complete each other's flaws in an independent way, not the cliche of "beauty saved by hero" kind of thing. That's why it's so realistic and relatable. Awwww I love them so much I cannot move on T__T

i’m not one to normally ship actors irl but they were filming for 5 months and i just don’t understand how they didn’t fall for each other. eunjae and woojin didn’t have any romantic scenes but you could just feel the romance between them throughout their eyes and actions. if i was ahn hyoseop, i would literally be crushing on lee sungkyung and if i was lee sungkyung i would be crushing on ahn hyoseop. oh well i wish both actors the best in their future projects and we hope for the sake of world peace they get to reunited in a possible s3 or another project.

Then I started to watch this Romantic Doctor accidentally from the 2nd season after their ongoing aired end then try to see the season 1).
