"The first lady of jazz" I remember helping this little old lady find a particular kind of grain when I worked at a grocery store. She was quite frail at the time, so I helped her out to her car as well, with the nagging feeling I had seen her before. She was very nice, and asked me about my life, and hobbies. I mentioned that I was a pianist, and she properly introduced herself. That's why I recognized her; my second cousin had taken me to see her years earlier! We had a great little talk in the parking lot, and I discussed some of the options ahead of me in life, and the uncertainty of it. I'll never forget her confident tone as she answered very simply; "Stick to your guns." I never did pursue that music career, Lee. But I am proud of the path I chose, and I am sticking to my guns. Thanks for the advice, and the wonderful music.
