I'm an 8w9 and loyal and dedicated but can only take so many years of BS before it's time to find something else. In today's world it's super hard but even just a different shift or schedule to feel like I'm making my own decisions and not at the whim of the system is refreshing. It can also be hard when you have pressures of a family to support but sometimes you just have to say "fuck it" and follow your gut and go with your heart not your head.

Type 9. Had 2 jobs around the time of my wedding. I'd worked at job 1 for 8 years and job 2 for 2 months. Job 1 (retail) decided to schedule me on my wedding day even though I'd requested the day off in advance. Politely spoke with the scheduler who said she couldn't make any changes. Didn't make a fuss and excused myself after her thanking her for trying to help. Didn't say a word about the issue to anyone for the rest of the day and worked it like normal. I left at the end of my shift and that was it. Never submitted a letter of resignation. Avoided the store location for years. Ignored all phone calls and threw away any letters that came from them.

I'm a Type 9, and even going into my bosses office to express something I'm struggling with within the job, or a conflict with a co-worker that we can't seem to resolve on out own, is enough to give me such anxiety that I will spend an entire day at work considering all the ways I could bring it up and all the was my boss could respond. All of them usually end badly in my head. At the end of the day I walk into the office, timidly bring it up, and it always goes better than expected. Regardless, I will lose two hours of sleep that night replaying it in my head about how it could have gone better, or wishing I said something with a bit more confidence or assertiveness. 9's disintegrating to a 6 when in stress is SO real, and I wish I could change that about me! (I'm not crying, you're crying!) I've actually always left jobs on good terms (except for one because my boss was a psychopath and I quit after less than two months), but I always had a good excuse, like I'm going back to school, or I need full time, or I'm out of college and need something in my field. I've now been in the same job for 12 years. Every year I want to quit, but every time I convince myself to stay, because THEY need ME! :(

These are pretty great! I feel like the 5 is pretty off-base though, maybe it's just because I have a couple 5 friends that don't fit that mold at all. She plays 5 as an awkward nerd, overly-quantitative thinker type. 5s can be really qualitative, emotionally deep and woo though, especially 5w4s. To me, the funny foibles of 5s are like, they never get to the point, SUPER introspective, and are pretty afraid of others' expectations for them. "Oh, so you wanted me to do this? Well, I was thinking about that, but then that made me think about this, and then I thought about this, and how can I get started on that without first addressing this...2 hours later...what were we talking about again?" The 4,6 and 7 are 100% my bff's and I though XD
