For people not familiar with him, leech is a mutant that can turn off all other mutant powers within a certain range. Leechs power affects ALL mutants because it attacks and turns off the X gene, which is the mutation that gives mutants their powers. No matter how powerful the mutant, Leech can turn off their power if close enough. So mutants like dark Phoenix, magneto, and even apocalypse would have their powers turned off. However leech has limits and cannot turn off artificially given powers like Spiderman or Captain America or Mr Sinister since they lack the X gene. Evolution changed this where he can turn off ALL powers, but in comics, Leech can't negate the powers of non mutants. In some comics, he's a morlok that lives underground. But my favorite incarnation of him is where he is a therapist for Xavier's school who turns off students' powers that make their lives harder, have a deformity, or affect their social life. One of the best moments with him is when he hugs Rogue without her gloves, and she bursts into tears because she hadn't felt another person's touch in so long

Rouge's draining ability and Leech dampening ability is such a deadly combo. I'm glad they exploit his ability, even though he had little screen time.

It really depends. I feel it’s a double edge sword type of thing where yes he can depower everything in the battlefield but defenses will be vulnerable.

Even though Spyke did feel badly about this, it really wasn't his fault for him being exposed as a mutant. His mom failed to keep an eye on him & allowed him to be in harm's way. Keep in mind that the mutant haters attacked Leech, it was Spyke who defended him & brought him & his mother to safety. The mutant haters were the ones who started the fight. Duncan & buddies or whatever you want to call him attacked 1 of the new students from the Xavier Institute for a mere accident where a few bricks were broken.

And i heard rumors that the last stand movie probably leads to days of future past and i don't know what happened to raven(mystique) in the dystopian future during the time logan was in japan at the time. She got her powers back. It must be temporary Did she killed off by sentinels where she discovers that they plan to killing mutants before the movie days of future past film took place.

Poor Leech. He doesn’t deserved to be persecuted for being a mutant in Bayville, almost being killed by Duncan the racist asshole and his mutant hating Jocks and of course being exposed as a Mutant by Spyke and his selfish bulls**t. I also think that Leech’s mom is the best, protecting her son from all of the racism and hatred from the humans. And I think that Leech should have attend the Xavier Institute for gifted children.

Yes, the Adamantium would metal poison him and anyone else needs their uncoated bones to make white blood cells. And he'd die from extreme blood loss from using his claws without the healing

When Wolverine lost his powers in the comics from another mutant called Wipeout, he was able to live for days. But the adamantium was slowly killing him. He realized that he had to regain his mutant powers, despite that fact that he viewed them as a curse.
