Sad to see what's become of the club in such a short space of time. From the unity, pride, passion and sheer excitement that Bielsa brought, and way he made fans fall back in love with the club and with football in general, to fans booing the players and chanting "you're not fit to wear the shirt" and "you're fucking shit" at them. I thought promotion under Bielsa was going to be the start of something special and a legacy that would last for years to come, but here we are, back to square one. "Too good to be true" is a phrase that aptly sums up the life of a Leeds fan. This is entirely on the board.

Priority number one has to be to get rid of Bamford. He alone cost Leeds at least 4 vital points. He's not even a Championship striker. As for the board they didn't learn from the previous season and Leeds have paid dearly for their short sightedness. Also about 4 seasons to fix the striker and left back problems and it was never addressed. How much time did they need? They need to look back and see what worked in the past - A core of older, experienced players surrounded by a wealth of young talent, aka Strachan, McCallister, Speed, Batty. They have the young talent already in the likes of Gnonto (please hang on to him!) and Summerville etc, what they now need is to pick up a decent older, experienced striker, midfielder and defender. A striker who can get the ball in the back of the net regularly which is something Bamford fails to do

Being relegated could well be the making of Leeds as it has been us (I’m a Claret) being in the Premier League at any cost isn’t the answer in my view. Our American owners brought in the most important piece of the jigsaw in Kompany and he changed everything. Being in the Championship does allow major changes to be tried without the punishment Teams dish out in the Premier League.

The problem is simple, Jesse Marsch/ Red Bull football was NOT the right call playerwise after getting rid of Bielsa. Orta made a huge mistake and it costs us the Premiership.
